We're looking for a reliable and organised Administration & Social Media Assistant to join our busy roofing team based in New Plymouth. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and enjoys supporting day-to-day operations through administrative and digital communication tasks.
You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients, while providing valuable support to the management team, project managers, and roofing crews.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the team with process-driven admin tasks, document control and data entry
- Supporting the team with general day-to-day tasks
- Answering the phone and directing calls to the appropriate team member
- Greeting clients, suppliers, and delivery drivers at the office or yard
- Keeping the office, kitchen, and bathroom supplies stocked
- Assisting with the creation of social media content (bonus if you know how to fly a drone!)
- Helping to update website content
- Assisting with organising team events
You Are/Have:
- Customer focused with excellent phone and interpersonal skills. You’ll be the first point of contact and should take pride in delivering professional, friendly service.
- Confident managing documentation and files, both physical and digital. Experience with SimPro and MYOB is a bonus.
- Strong written English and typing skills. Able to draft clear, concise emails and letters.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic. This is essential for fitting in with our team.

- Comfortable taking direction and happy to pitch in where needed.
- Proactive and able to work independently once trained.
- A full NZ driver’s licence - you’ll need to get to and from our office and yard. A work vehicle is available for running work-related errands.
- Social media savvy. You can create industry-focused posts, stories, and reels - or have a willingness to learn.

This is a permanent position, working 25-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Working hours are negotiable.
