There are dedicated ākonga (student) parking spaces across campus. There are also dedicated 'public' parks that have a time limit so look for any signs, warnings to avoid any parking fines.
There are dedicated accessible parks and ākonga (students) must display the mobility cards. If you have any questions about accessing any of the the WITT services and facilities contact the Accessibility Coordinator.
There are lots of walkways to walk or ride your bike around New Plymouth and the WITT campus. Visit the Let's Go website for more information.
From 1 January 2025 WITT students catching the bus to and from WITT will have to pay. To receive the discount, we encourage ākonga (students) to get the Bee Card by applying online [click here] or visiting into one of the locations below:
WITT students catching the Connector Bus will continue to travel for free and will need to show the driver their WITT Student ID. Click here for more Connector Bus information
There are new arrangements to support secondary school students who are studying at WITT. This will be discussed with these ākonga and schools before the start of the term. In a nutshell, the travel support will be specific to travelling to and from WITT only.
