O-Week

06 - 10 March 2023

O-week is how we welcome our new and returning students. We want to be part of your study journey with us, and we want you to feel like part of our whānau. It's also a great chance to meet other students, your friendly tutors, and the welcoming support staff.

New Plymouth

Monday 6 March - Free lunch, music, and a pink pig competition

Lunch is sorted, grab yourself a free nacho box, outside Te Piere from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, get groovy with our very own DJ, and compete with your friends to try and stay on the giant pink pig without slipping off.

Tuesday 7 March - Games and Dunk!

We have some activities happening at lunchtime and epic prizes up for grabs! Bowling, mini golf, or table tennis; meet us outside Te Piere from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. PS there's a chance to dunk your tutor or your friends on the dunk tank!

Wednesday 8 March - Market Day

It's Market Day. See what our local community, businesses, and organisations can offer you, especially while you study. Join us outside Te Piere from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.

Thursday 9 March - Epic prizes up for grabs at our outdoor classroom

Test your three-point skills at our outdoor classroom next to Mātātoa Gym from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, because there are epic prizes up for grabs! We'll have kai, and our smoothie bike. You have the chance to pedal your own!

Friday 10 March - Pop-up pancakes!

We will have a pancake station set up outside Te Piere from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. So finish your first week with something sweet.

Campus Tours (New Plymouth)

Learn to navigate your way around campus, discover all the key places and step into your first day confidently. Tours usually take around 20-30 minutes. 

Meet us outside the main Reception at 20 Bell Street, five minutes before the tour starts.
