O-Week

O-Week is how we welcome our new and returning students. We want to be part of your study journey with us, and we want you to feel like part of our whānau. It's also a great chance to meet other students, your friendly tutors, and the welcoming support staff. 

All ākonga (students) in New Plymouth will be formally welcomed to our WITT whānau by a pōwhiri, on their first day.

All activities take place between 12pm - 1pm in Te Kauta cafe mezzanine floor or Te Piere courtyard.

22 July - Nacho Monday

Lunch is sorted! Grab a free nacho lunch (vegetarian options available). Get groovy to our very own DJ  and give Giant Jenga a go! 

P.S: Don’t forget to have your photo taken at the House of Flash photo booth!!

23 July - Sizzling Tuesday

Join us for a kiwi classic sausage sizzle in the Te Piere courtyard. Vege sausages available too!

24 July - Mid-week Market

It’s Market Day! See what our local suppliers and services have to offer students - including health and wellbeing, road safety, hair and beauty treatments + there will be sweet treats! See you in Te Kauta cafe.

25 July - Pop-up pancake Thursday

Pop into Te Kauta cafe mezzanine floor for a tasty pancake and choose from a range of toppings at our pancake station. 

26 July - Friday Fri-YAY!

Finish your week with a free Mr Whippy ice cream! Find us in the Te Piere courtyard.
