Student ID Card

Your student ID card is a multipurpose card that gives you access to buildings, printing and photocopying at WITT.  For ākonga (students) catching the Connector Bus, it's free provided you show the bus driver your Student ID. Get your ID card early and start taking advantage of these benefits.

How to get your student ID card?

Email idcards@witt.ac.nz with:

  1. Suitable head and shoulders photo (please include your preferred first name and your legal family name, student ID number (if you have it) and your date of birth). Your photo needs to be: a jpeg image, portrait and in colour. Please don’t use filters.
  2.  Let us know if you want your student ID card mailed out to you or whether you will collect it.

If you can’t email a photo just pop into Te Whare Mātauranga (L Block) during our opening hours and we will take your photo and give your card to you on the spot.

Why do you need your Student ID Card?

  • You need your student ID card for printing and photocopying, parking in the student car park, issuing library books and accessing areas around campus
  • It is also the key to the free Connector Bus to and from WITT. Some places, such as the cinema, offers a student discount so it is always a good idea to have your ID card with you

  • You can collect your ID card from Te Whare Mātauranga (L Block) (please allow five working days to process your card)
  • If you can’t email us a photo, don’t worry, you will be able to get your ID before your course starts by popping into Te Whare Mātauranga and we can take a photo for you
