- New Zealand Certificate in Conservation (Operations) (Level 4)
- NCEA Level 3
- Equivalent knowledge, skills experience or study

Graduates of this qualification will be able to work in the following contexts: conservation officer, resource management adviser/consultant, environmental consultant/technician.
