Certificate of Proficiency - Printmaking 1 (Level 5) - starts 17 July 2025

Excting opportunity with Mark Raymer.

This course offers you the opportunity to engage in a range of printmaking processes, including screen-print, etching, woodcut, and working with digital tools. Join experienced printmaker and Senior Academic, Mark Raymer in DAD5.003 Printmaking 1. Engage with a wide variety of technical processes and visualisation methods in this exploration into illustration and design.

Certificate of Proficiency

This course is an integral part of the Diploma in Arts and Design (Level 5) and includes formal assessment. Successful completion will contribute 15 credits toward the Diploma qualification. In recognition recognition of your achievement, you will also be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency for this course.

On-Campus Attendance

For 17 weeks starting on Thursday 17 July you’ll join the Diploma in Arts and Design (Level 5) students on campus.  Classes run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and offer a great opportunity to collaborate, create, and learn in a dynamic studio environment

Entry Requirements

Students who have already completed the New Zealand Certificate in Arts and Design (Level 4) can enrol directly into this Level 5 course.  New students are encouraged to contact the tutor Mark Raymer, or the team from the Art Department to discuss their background, suitability, and any prerequisite knowledge. 

We also welcome mature students and those wishing to study part-time.
