Qualification overview

This qualification will develop skills already learned in the New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) programme, or equivalent. It also introduces new concepts which are being used in industry today. Its aim is to provide industry with appropriately trained, skilled personnel in professional cookery. You will learn to perfect dishes with flair and creativity, using fresh ingredients and complex cooking techniques.

• City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking (Culinary Arts) 8065-02
• City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Patisserie) 8065-03.

    

Entry requirements

• Certificate in Culinary Arts Level 3 or New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) or equivalent qualification.
• Equivalent knowledge, skills, work experience or study.
