Competency Assessment Programme (CAP)

Obtain a current Annual Practicing Certificate to work as a registered nurse in New Zealand. This intensive programme comprises three weeks of theory and includes study in ethics, regulations in New Zealand, quality assurance, cultural safety and preparation for clinical practice and a practical clinical component which runs for six weeks.

Bachelor of Nursing (Level 7)

The Bachelor of Nursing aims to equip you with the necessary knowledge base, practical skills and attitudes to work safely, effectively and productively with clients within a healthcare setting.

Trauma Informed Care

The aim of this micro credential is to develop health care practitioners’ proficiency in the principles, knowledge and practice of Trauma Informed Care, when caring for patients with multi-dimensional experiences of trauma, and their whānau in a health care setting.

  • 8 weeks

Intravenous Cannulation

This course is designed for registered nurses who need to improve their skills in Intravenous Cannulation.

  • One day course from 2pm - 4pm

Introduction to Infection Prevention

This free online course has been developed to help give New Zealanders confidence and knowledge about preventing viral and bacterial infections, particulary relevant in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
