This course provides an overview of asphalt mix design and includes the latest design methods from America and Australia. The methods will include Austroads Guide to Pavement Technology and SHRP Superpave Mix Design.
This course also includes an overview of the specification for dense graded, stone mastic and fine graded asphalt paving mixtures NZTA M/10.
This will assist engineers and supervisors in their understanding of the design process and specifications.
