Applications open for July Intake

Published on

Applications are now open for July 2022.  Trimester two’s jam-packed offering includes more new courses than ever before, the last chance to take advantage of targeted fee-free schemes and it is also our last major intake before WITT becomes Te Pūkenga in 2023.

For the first time WITT is offering programmes such as New Zealand Certificate in Beauty Therapy (Level 5) as well as the new Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in Applied Management programmes, which starts in September.

The July intake is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the Targeted Training and Apprentice Fund (TTAF). TTAF is a government-funded training scheme that began in July 2020 and will end 31 December 2022. It has meant that a range of training programmes and apprenticeships have been free for learners.

TTAF is targeted towards industry skill needs where demand continue to be strong, or is expected to grow, during New Zealand’s recovery from the impacts of COVID-19. In total, 21 WITT programmes have been funded under the TTAF scheme from IT and Engineering through to Healthcare Assistance and Pest Operations.
