When to register
Registrations for Graduation 2027 will open from Tuesday 6 October 2026 and close on Saturday 16 January 2027. The link to register will appear here from 6 October.
You must register to ensure your receive your well-earned certificate, whether or not you attend the graduation ceremony. Some of you may still need to finalise exams or receive the final grades - and that's okay. We'll review the eligibility of everyone that registers and confirm your graduation status.
On the registration form you can indicate whether you are able to attend the ceremony or not. If you are unable to attend, you can receive a digital and/or a hardcopy certificate to be picked up from WITT campus.
As we plan ahead for certificate creation and for ceremony attendance numbers, we are unable to accept late registrations.
How to register
The link to the graduation registration form will be added here when registration opens on the 6th of October.
You should register even if:
- You don’t know your results yet.
- You’re not planning to attend the graduation ceremony (i.e. graduate in absentia).
When you register, we’ll ask you:
- Whether you or any of your guests need any special seating arrangements or assistance.
Information about how to order Regalia (for diploma and degree graduands) will be provided on the registration form. More information about regalia can be found on the regalia hire page.
If your plans change
If you’ve registered as not attending, you can change your mind up until registrations close on Saturday 16 January.
If you’re no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Requests for regalia hire refunds won’t be available after Saturday 16 January 2027.

Guests
Bringing your whānau and friends to celebrate your success together is the best way to celebrate!
We are limited in seating numbers at the beautiful venue of TSB Showplace, which influences the number of guest tickets we can guarantee.
We guarantee up to 2 additional guest tickets per graduand which you can tick on your registration form.
If more guest tickets become available, we aim to divide this evenly and this may go up to 4 guest tickets per graduand in total.
On the registration form, make sure you also tick how many additional guests you ideally like to receive.
