I am an enthusiastic and committed educationalist with a passion for teaching. A great believer in the power of Ako, I embrace learning moments from those who cross my path every day. I view teaching as a privilege and believe in the ability of education to transform lives.
The diversity in my teaching career across two countries, the tertiary and secondary education sectors, and public and private education, coupled with my experience in management and leadership, provides a good background for me in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the business management area.
With two master’s qualifications, one in Business (Economic Analysis), my interests lie in the impact of economic and global events at a micro and macro level.
I am a Business Administration tutor with over 15 years' experience at WITT. Throughout my career, I have supported students in developing workplace-ready skills and achieving their learning goals.
While my teaching has primarily been classroom-based, I have recently adapted to supporting online learners and enjoy finding new ways to engage and encourage student success. Outside of teaching, I love living in Taranaki and value the opportunity to contribute to the local community.

I teach across business and accounting, helping students understand how organisations operate, interpret financial information, manage budgets, and use practical accounting tools such as Xero. I enjoy bringing real-world business experience into the classroom and showing how the skills you learn can be applied in the workplace.
Before becoming a tutor, I worked in business management, so I understand the challenges and opportunities that come with working in business. I love bringing this real-world experience into the classroom and showing how what you learn can be applied in the workplace.
