  • Registration is necessary for alert level and catering purposes
  • Ākonga/students must register all adults and tamariki accompanying them to this celebration

If you wish to attend the graduation, you must register for that event separately.

Arrival time

4.45pm                Whānau to be seated in Te Piere o te Rangi

5.00pm                Karanga to call ākonga into Te Piere o te Rangi

The 2022 ceremony will be livestreamed so friends and family near and far can watch your big day. The livestream details will be available closer to the day.  

About the event

The Office of the Kaiārahi (Deputy CEO and Chief Māori Advisor, Equity) are pleased to host ākonga graduating in February 2022 and their whānau to a celebration acknowledging their success at WITT.

Everyone is encouraged to wear taonga befitting the occasion and whānau may wish to acknowledge their ākonga with karanga and waiata called to the front of Te Piere o te Rangi. 

Ākonga attending this celebration will receive taonga to acknowledge their journey with us. 

Please note: Wearing the graduation robes and receiving the academic certificates takes place at the WITT Graduation on Friday, 18 February 2022.
