New Zealand Certificate in Organic Primary Production (Level 4)

If you have experience or an interest in the organic primary sector this part-time programme will give you the skills and knowledge to develop and monitor a production plan that complies with relevant organic standards, for either crop or livestock production.

This programme is pending NZQA approval

Graduates will be able to work in a self-managed capacity and may have some responsibility for the performance of others.

Entry Requirements

• NCEA Level 2; or
• Equivalent knowledge, life skills, work experience or study.

Changes for 2023 learners

On 1 November 2022, WITT and the programme you have enrolled in became part of Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology .
When you apply to study with WITT in 2023, you will be enrolled with Te Pūkenga, the new national network of vocational and applied education in Aotearoa New Zealand. You will learn in the same way, in the same place, and with the same people.
