High School Open Day

The WITT Te Pūkenga High School Open Day is a chance for ākonga who are still at school to get hands-on and discover a world of learning right here in Taranaki. 

Ākonga (learners) will have a wide range of fun workshops to get hands-on with. They will choose which three they want to attend, based on the programme area they are interested in.

• Carpentry (Trade)
• Electrical (Trade)
• Engineering (Diploma in Mechanical or Civil)
• Sport & Exercise
• Hair
• Hospitality (Food & Beverage, Cookery, Baking)
• IT
• Mechanical Engineering (Trade)
• Nursing & Healthcare (Nursing, Health Care Assistant, Mental Health)
• Painting & Plastering (Trade)
• Plumbing, Gasfitting & Drainlaying (Trade)
• Primary Industries (Pest Operations, Forestry, Farming, Horticulture)
• Scaffolding (Trade)

Students will need to register for the WITT Te Pūkenga High School Open Day by meeting with their careers advisors.
