Student leaders have experience

There are some familiar faces in the WITT student leaders’ line-up for 2019.

A team of 13 has been formed and several are returning for a second “term”.

Two members, Stephanie Nicholson and Richard Grange, will represent WITT at the Ako/NZUSA ITP Student Voice Summit in Wellington next month and will return to share learnings with the group.

This year’s team includes students from carpentry, foundation, business, hospitality, nursing and mental health courses.

Student Support Services director Zanetta Hinton said the group met for the first time yesterday and got down to work immediately – discussing feedback on the proposed furniture for the newly refurbished cafeteria.
