Get Study Ready is a programme designed to help introduce you to tertiary study and support services at WITT. The programme is available to all new students to help prepare them for Orientation and studies. 

Wednesday 17 July

Time Programme Location
10am - 11am Meet the student support services team - Meet the team and other students, ask questions and find out about the Powhiri process

Te Piere o te Rangi (F Block)

11am - 12pm Getting the basics sorted - what to bring on your first day, time management and expectations of students Te Piere o te Rangi (F Block)
12pm - 12.30pm Kai - chat to the support staff over some kai Te Piere o te Rangi (F Block)
12.30pm - 1pm ID Cards - please note you need to be fully enrolled to get your ID card Te Whare Maturanga (L Block)
1pm - 3pm Wellbeing for success - learn to recognise and manage stressful times  Te Piere o te Rangi (F Block)

Thursday 18 July

Time Programme Location
11am - 12pm Maths hacks and computers at WITT - learn some great techniques to sort maths problems; find your way around the WITT system including logons, timetable, iWITT and understand who to ask for help B102
12.30pm - 1pm ID cards - please note you need to be fully enrolled to get your ID card Te Whare Matauranga (L Block)
1pm - 3pm Computers for assignments - get ahead and learn how to set up your documents for assignments  B102

What to bring: Pen & paper and a support person if required.

Campus Tours 2019

Learn to navigate your way around campus, discover all the key places and step into our first day with confidence. Campus tours generally take around 20-30 minutes. 

Wednesday 17 July at 3.15pm
Thursday 18 July at 4pm
Friday 19 July at 12:15pm

Meet us outside the main Reception at 20 Bell Street 5 minutes prior to the tour starting.
