Fitness Tutors

Looking for a change in 2020?

We are looking for tutors to teach on our New Zealand Certificate in Exercise programmes, Levels 3, 4 and 5.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly effective communicator who is committed to supporting, guiding and motivating students through the course of their studies. You’ll also need:

  • Experience within the Fitness industry
  • A fitness qualification at Level 5 or above
  • The ability to perform effectively under busy conditions and meet deadlines
  • A high level of patience, empathy and cultural sensitivity
  • Have experience in working with people

This role is located within the School – Nursing, Health and Wellness

Academic Staff Member Engineering (Civil)

We are looking for Academic Staff Members who would like to be involved in the Civil Engineering programmes being offered in 2020 at our New Plymouth Campus.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly effective communicator who is committed to supporting, guiding and motivating students through the course of their studies. You will also need to have 2 years minimum relevant industry experience in the Civil Engineering sector and hold relevant Civil Engineering qualifications.  

The position is diverse; fast paced and requires delivery across courses from the Diploma in Civil Engineering and the future Engineering Bachelors Programme.  The position is responsible for teaching and learning of our students and to ensure quality academic requirements are met.

Industry engagement is encouraged through attending conferences, industry meetings and our Local Advisory Committee; ensuring we are aligning closely with the needs of our key stakeholders.
