Achievement in Food Safety

Graduates will demonstrate knowledge and skills required within the hospitality industry by national and local regulatory authorities.

Skills you will learn

  • The ability to understand and comply with health and safety legislation, and practice food safety methods to maintain a safe working environment
  • Knowledge of storage and temperature control of food, effective cleaning routines and food contamination hazards and the methods used to control them.

Students must achieve 8 WITT credits to be awarded the Food Safety Certificate of Achievement.

Classes take place over 3 days from 9am - 3pm each day

If you wish to apply please phone 06 757 3100 or visit our main reception to complete a Study Contract. Places are limited and fill up very fast. Payment of $210 for one unit or $420 for two units is required before the course commences.
