Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Highways) (Level 7)

This programme is designed to give those that have engineering qualifications a chance to gain technical knowledge in highway engineering and general knowledge of applied management. The goal is to provide the technical and management skills to function at middle management level.

  • 1 year full-time or equivalent part-time (for domestic students only) delivered via block course and supported distance learning

New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil) (Level 6)

Learn about the design and development of civil infrastructure including water supply and treatment, irrigation and hydropower systems, highways, subdivisions and structural architecture in this practical programme. This two-year standardised diploma has been designed by industry to meet the needs of the New Zealand engineering sector. It includes core and elective courses focused on the design and implementation of engineering technology and will utilise your maths and physics ability and your problem-solving skills.

  • Level 6
  • 2 years full-time or part-time equivalent up to 10 years (domestic only).

New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil) (Level 6)

(Block Course Delivery)

The aim of the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering is to provide skilled and competent engineering technicians specialised in mechanical, civil, electrical or electronic engineering for the New Zealand engineering sector. Graduates will be capable of operating at a technician level scope of practice as outlined by the Dublin Accord (international Engineering Alliance, 2002).
