These learning options allow students to commence study online in their home country, and then travel to New Zealand once border restrictions are relaxed.
Entry Requirements
How much time per week is required for study?
- Around 35 hours per week. Students attend a 60-90 minute class meeting per week and spend around 34 hours per week in self-directed learning.
- Individual meetings with the tutor are available by request
Further Study Options
This qualification will allow you to pathway to an undergraduate IT degree programme. Bachelor of Information Technology is not currently offered at WITT, however, programme is offered by many education providers in New Zealand.
Changes for 2023 learners
On 1 November 2022, WITT and the programme you have enrolled in became part of Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology .
When you apply to study with WITT in 2023, you will be enrolled with Te Pūkenga, the new national network of vocational and applied education in Aotearoa New Zealand. You will learn in the same way, in the same place, and with the same people. The great news is that this enables us to share skills and knowledge across a network of passionate education providers, to better help you succeed.
