Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Worker

All new staff wishing to come into the TTM industry will need to start with this course.

he TTM worker will be able to assist with setting out a site under the supervision of a STMS (Site Traffic Management Specialist). They are also able to assist with “Stop/Go” operations.

Many contractors may wish most of their staff stay at this level.

Both theory and practical training and assessment will be carried out on this course. People who pass will be eligible to be awarded Unit Standard 31958.

Once you have achieved this warrant you can then move up to the next level – the Traffic Management Operative (TMO) warrant.

Who should attend

  • Any person wishing to start in the TTM industry.
  • People who assist with stop/go operations, those who assist with setting out a site under the supervision of a STMS.
  • This course is a pre-requisite for the Traffic Management Operative (TMO) course.

Unit Standard Assessment

On completion of this course (subject to passing the assessment) you will be awarded unit standard 31958 - Explain the role of and operate as a TTM worker on the worksite under temporary traffic management
