Health Week

As part of Health Week at WITT year one nursing students are hosting a health expo promoting health education this week.

For WITT students it will be via stalls set up from 10am to 1:30pm at Witt on Friday (September 7) in the WITT café.

Advice will be available on a range of subjects - including teaching about safe drinking habits. It’s also a chance to get your blood pressure checked, have an eye test and hear about safe driving habits.

There will be a variety of health and well-being stalls for students to pick from. They will provide health checks and health advice on a range of topics.

The nursing students will also be visiting schools on Wednesday and Thursday as part of the expo and are expecting to talk to 400 school students.

Keep an eye out for posters promoting the event and mark it in your diary.

If you have concerns remember WITT has a health centre, medical clinic and counsellor on campus. It’s free for students, so make use of these services.
