Fitness Factory


The Fitness Factory is FREE for all students and is located on WITT's New Plymouth campus. Check out the current timetable.

The new space opened in 2020 and features all-new, state of the art equipment and audio-visual set up, secure bag storage, plus new shower and changing facilities. 

Open 7 days a week from 6am to 8pm, there’s plenty of time to hit the gym for a workout or group fitness class. 

Group Classes

Check out our group fitness classes, designed to help improve your exercise levels, strength and overall wellbeing:

  • Yoga classes with a focus on stress relief and relaxation. Improve your overall wellbeing.
  • HIIT - High intensity interval workouts run by our level 4 exercise students 
  • Full body strength workouts - between 30 - 45 min and run by our level 4 exercise students
  • Core strength workouts - 30 minute classes run by level 4 exercise students

Interested in joining the Fitness Factory?

Book a health and safety induction. 

You can email Kieran k.mckendry@witt.ac.nz and set up a time to do this. 

Complete the health and safety induction.

There will also be an induction form and a fob form that needs to filled out and signed prior to joining.  You can download it here.

Once you have completed filling out the forms, return them to reception where you will then recieve your fob. Your fob will take 24 - 48 hours to activate

Just for you - personalised services

You can also book services just for you:

Personlised programme with walkthrough - $30

Get a training programme that is created by our Level 4 Exercise students and tailored to your individual needs, followed by a walkthrough of how to do the programme safely.

Strength testing - $20

Test your limits with 4 x strengths of your choice. Options include: squat, bench press, deadlift, vertical jump, and any other exercise of your choosing.

Body composition testing - $30

Stay on course and track your progress with skinfold testing, girth measurements, and a BMI calculation.
