Our International Staff is here to look after you when you come to study at WITT. The International Office assists international students with course applications and enrolments, visas, medical and health insurance, travel arrangements, course transfers and refunds.

If you have specific queries, contact the following people:

  • Queries regarding Applications can go to Glenys Bridgeman
  • Queries regarding visas, immigration, international agent queries or if you are a current WITT student can be directed to Carol Allen
  • Pastoral Care or accommodation queries can be directed to Robyn Harvey if you are a WITT student.

Carol Allen

International Director

Carol Allen has many years of experience working in international education, and has met many WITT students in their home countries prior to welcoming them to WITT’s New Plymouth campus.

As International Director, Carol manages all aspects of WITT’s international recruitment activities and works closely with WITT’s trusted education agents across the world, to ensure the best outcomes for WITT’s international students.

Carol loves welcoming new students to our campus, and regularly hosts visitors on campus.

Glenys Bridgeman

International Administrator 

Glenys Bridgeman has worked at WITT for many years in the administration area assisting all students, both domestic and international, supplying information about our variety of courses.

She is one of the first people students see upon their arrival at WITT.

Aakriti Nahar

International Administrator 

Aakriti Nahar started her journey with WITT as an International student and has now been part of WITT's International Team for the past year.

Aakriti is originally from Amritsar, India, and she completed a Graduate Diploma in Project Management at WITT in 2019. She is grateful to be able to assist students from overseas with their enrolments and help them learn about the culture of New Zealand.

She's a friendly face who is passionate in helping international students to settle.

Becky Gooch

International Administrator

Becky Gooch has worked in the tertiary sector for the last few years after completing her Bachelors degree in Education & Psychology. Becky has recently joined the international team at WITT and is excited about assisting the international students with their enrolments and anything else they may need.

Becky is here to help make the students transition to WITT as easy as possible

Robyn Harvey

International Student Liaison Officer

Robyn has worked with international students for several years and will assist students with a range of needs including pastoral care support, accommodation options, bank account and mobile phone setups and a range of other needs. 

Robyn will keep in touch with you during your time at WITT and will work with tutors to assist you to successfully complete your study.

Senior Advisor International

Paramdip has many years experience in the teritary sector and works very closely with the international team.

Qualifications offered by the New Zealand Institute of Technology (NZIHT) are delivered in Hamilton whereas WITT qualifications are delivered in New Plymouth.

NZIHT is fully owned by WITT and is the largest provider of Civil Engineering, technical and skills training in New Zealand. The qualifications are offered in a mixed mode format of self-directed study and contact sessions called Study Blocks.

Jill Warner

Programme Co-ordinator

Jill Warner worked at WITT before her present role at NZIHT. 

Jill is the Programme Co-ordinator for the Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Highways) programme. Students on this qualification will be in contact with Jill from the time of application through to graduation.
