Qualification overview

Turn your passion for vehicles into a career by gaining knowledge, skills and abilities to enter employment in the motor industry. The aim of the Certificate in Automotive Trades qualification is to develop graduates who have a theoretical and practical understanding of Automotive Engineering.

   

Entry requirements

• NCEA Level 1; or
• Equivalent NZQF Unit Standards; or
• Equivalent knowledge, life skills, work experience, or study.

Applicants may be required to undertake a Mechanical Aptitude Test administered by WITT. Class 1 Drivers Licence is also required.
