Qualification overview


This foundation qualifcation is intended for learners who have a minimal command of Te Reo, as an addtional language

Learn the basic language skills required to communicate in Te Reo Māori with support, in familiar everyday contexts. Classes are fun, supportive and interactive and designed to give you confidence in your new reo skills. You will be able to contribute positively to the development of te reo kia tika, kia rere, kia Māori.

Weekly classes are available in:

Hāwera
(March)
Tuesday 9:30am - 1pm OR Thursdays 1pm-4:30pm

New Plymouth
(March) 
Wednesdays 9am - 12:30pm OR Wednesdays 5pm - 8:30pm
(July) Mondays 5pm - 8:30pm


All Te Reo students also attend noho marae and wānanga:
