WITT's busy again

More than 2000 students have started or resumed their studies through WITT this week as powhiri at New Plymouth and Hawera heralded the start of the New Year.

They arrived as major reforms of tertiary education, unveiled in Education Minister Chris Hipkins’ Review of Vocational Education report in mid-February were being discussed across the country.

Last week WITT News reported on the five-year high numbers of enrolments in automotive classes, a reflection of growth in interest in trades training.

WITT will be talking more about enrolments, new courses on the horizon and chief executive John Snook’s thoughts on the reforms in next Wednesday’s Taranaki Daily News.
