WITT in the Waikato

Hundreds of potential students in Waikato were given an insight into what WITT has to offer this week.

Each year hundreds of teachers take tens of thousands of students to Careers Expos throughout the country, allowing those students to talk face to face with a wide range of employers, industry organisations, government departments and training providers.

The latest was held at the Claudelands Events Centre in Hamilton.

WITT was on hand to promote the courses it has on offer at the two day Expo on Sunday and Monday, particularly those starting in July.

There was particular interest in Engineering, Nursing and Beauty Therapy, particularly for semester 2.

More than 6500 attended the Hamilton expo.

The Taranaki Careers & Training Expo is 18 and 19 August at the TSB Showgrounds.
