They're back!

When WITT students returned to their New Plymouth campus this week for the start of the second semester there was plenty planned for them.

For starters, there were 500 hot dogs and 400 apple pies to keep the hundreds of students fed –and games, including sumo wrestling – to keep them busy.

Orientation day was attended by the New Zealand Army, Taranaki Retreat and Tui Ora.

At this week’s WITT Council meeting chief executive Barbara George said enrolments figures at WITT were encouraging.

The number of equivalent full-time students enrolled this week was 976, compared with 855 at the same time in 2017.
