Lecture number three

The third Nga Ara Rangahau lecture at WITT for 2019 in May will feature tutor Jusuf Khan.

Yusuf, who was in the WITT News earlier this year after completing a Master of Philosophy in Engineering Research from AUT, will discuss his thesis topic “To Study the response of normal Human Phantom Aorta from externally imposed oscillation”.

It is hoped his analysis will leads to an early prediction of weaknesses in aortic tissues. The aorta is the major artery supplying oxygenated blood to the body.

Yusuf has been an engineering tutor at WITT for five years.

His lecture will be in the WITT boardroom on its Bell St campus on May 16 from 12.15 to 12.45.
