First week as a pop-up

A new WITT space popped up in central New Plymouth on Monday, lifting the lid on more than 50 short courses being offered to anyone wanting to expand or upskill. WITT’s new Stand-alone courses provide an opportunity to learn new skills or refresh knowledge.

Having a presence on Devon Street is driving publicity for the suite of Stand-alone courses ahead of a July intake. The pop-up space is equipped with computers, course information, and friendly staff on hand to answer any questions and help with enrolment.

The range of courses on offer is broad and includes a variety of business and management courses.  These courses are set to be popular among people new to business, as well as small business owners who may want to know more about anything from accounting to budgeting and tax to marketing.

There are five courses on offer in the arts and design field as well as tuition in hair and beauty and Te Reo Māori.

The range of Engineering courses includes fundamentals, mechanics, mathematics and engineering management.

The pop-up space is open 7 days a week for the rest of July and located at 10 Devon St, opposite the Irish Cobbler shop. Hours are Monday to Thursday from 10am to 5pm, and to 4pm on Friday. It will also be open from 10am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Come in and chat to our friendly team, and discover what WITT has to offer.
