Art Exhibition 2018

Eight WITT art students have put their work up for a show at the Moiré exhibition that opens next Friday.

The title was chosen by Diploma of Creative Technologies students for its reference to many layers.

The students work across disciplines ranging from painting to digital illustration.

“The Exhibition is an exciting but relentless time for these students, who are combining the pressures of completing work for three other courses while finalising artworks for public view,” senior tutor Ged Guy said.

She added that as the students wrap up a significant two-year journey it was also an appropriate time to acknowledge support from whanau, friends, partners, family and staff.

Next year will see a new programme delivered at WITT - a one year NZ Diploma in Arts & Design (Level 5) starting in February.

Moirè, in the F Block arts venue on WITT’s New Plymouth campus, opens on November 23 at 5.30pm. It will run seven days a week from 10 am to 4 pm to December 7.
