Gain the basic workplace skills for mechanical engineering, welding and fabrication and related trades. It may be used as the first stage of an apprenticeship or further training. You’ll develop a full range of skills in health and safety, machining, maths and drawings, workshop skills, fabrication of materials and a range of welding techniques. There is plenty of hands-on learning carried out during this practical engineering course.
