| Turn your passion for vehicles into a career by learning knowledge, skills and abilities to gain employment in the motor industry. The aim of the Certificate in Automotive Trades programme is to develop graduates who have a theoretical and practical understanding of automotive engineering. |

| ENTRY REQUIREMENTS |
| |
- A minimum of three years of secondary education; and
- 48 or more credits at NCEA Level 1, with no fewer than 8 credits from Mathematics or Numeracy and no fewer than 8 credits from English; and/or
- Equivalent NQF Unit Standards
|
| Applicants who do not meet the academic entry criteria above may be admitted to the programme if they are able to demonstrate: |
- Equivalent knowledge and skills; and/or
- Previous and ongoing life or work experience; and/or
- Other formal or informal study such as to suggest likelihood of successful programme completion.
