This Diploma is suitable for those who want to gain a broad knowledge and specific skills in the creative fields. The diploma offers specialisation in either visual arts (painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture) or digital media (photography, print media, web media, digital film, television and animation).

• University Entrance
• A minimum of 42 credits at NCEA level 3, with a minimum of 14 credits in 2 subjects, over a maximum of 4 subjects.
• A minimum of 12 credits at NCEA level 2 English and 14 credits at NCEA Level 1 in Maths.
• Candidates should also have a minimum of 24 credits at NCEA Level 3 in art, design or technology subjects.
• Equivalent skills and knowledge or previous or ongoing
• Successful completion of the Certificate in Creative Tecnologies (Level 4)
• All applicants will be required to submit a professional portfolio that demonstrates evidence of creative work and conceptual thinking at an appropriate level, and attend an interview

Life Skills/Work Experience

• Equivalent knowledge and skills
• Previous and relevant life skills or work experience
• Other formal or informal study such as to suggest likelihood of successful programme completion.
