Local Bus Services

The New Plymouth City Link bus service is operated by Tranzit Coachlines under contract to the Taranaki Regional Council.  Full details of routes, fares and timetables are available at www.taranakibus.info .
 
Weekday services
Route 333    Marfell - Spotswood service
Route 444    Westown - Hospital service
Route 555    Vogeltown - Frankleigh service
Route 777    Merrilands - Fitzroy service
Route 888    Waitara - New Plymouth service (return)
Route 14       Oakura - New Plymouth service (return)
 
Saturday services
Route 222    Saturday New Plymouth West service
Route 999    Saturday New Plymouth East service
 
All services (except the Oakura run - which is available only during the secondary school term) are synchronised and converge at the Ariki Street Bus Station, with children, secondary school students, tertiary students, beneficiaries, senior citizens and holders of Access cards able to travel at subsidised rates.

An agreement with WITT and our student association has enabled WITT students and staff to travel free.
