Qualification overview

This qualification will provide competent employees for the hospitality sector who are able to work as chefs in senior positions producing advanced dishes in a professional kitchen and enhance their employment opportunities across the hospitality industry.

  • City & Guilds Advanced Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking Supervision

       

Entry requirements

  • WITT’s Diploma in Professional Cookery or NZ Certificate in Cookery (Level 4); or
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering 8065-21; or
  • Successfully completed the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering 8065-21 as a Full Cost Recovery course prior to acceptance into the programme of study AND at least three (3) years work experience in a commercial kitchen in a supervisory role
