Qualification overview

December intake is only offered at the New Plymouth campus! 

Once you have successfully completed this fast paced hands-on qualification of study you will achieve a well-respected international qualification and two barista Certificates. You will learn full table service skills, restaurant service, bar service, café skills, health and safety requirements and essential hospitality skills.   This programme is available in New Plymouth and Hawera! 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • City & Guilds Certificate in Food & Beverage Services
  • City & Guilds International Award in Barista Skills

     

Entry requirements

  • 48 or more credits at NCEA Level 1 with 8 Literacy credits including 4 credits in Reading and 4 credits in Writing and at least 8 credits in Numeracy; or
  • Equivalent NZQF Unit Standards.
