Qualification overview

This qualification will develop skills already learned in the New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) programme, or equivalent. It also introduces new concepts which are being used in industry today. Its aim is to provide industry with appropriately trained, skilled personnel in professional cookery. You will learn to perfect dishes with flair and creativity, using fresh ingredients and complex cooking techniques.

  • City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking (Culinary Arts)
  • City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking (Patisserie)
  • City & Guilds Award in Food Safety in Catering
