Qualification overview

This qualification is designed to assist people with special learning disabilities to develop personal, vocational and work skills that will assist them to function productively within the community and the employment sector. Subjects studied include working effectively, numeracy, literacy, computing, cooking, communications, banking and budgeting.

Entry requirements

You must be at least 16 years old and have some numeracy, reading and writing skills, and be able to participate in a classroom environment.Students are required to have a level of independence to meet personal care needs. Applicant's suitability and likelihood of success will be deteremined for the Certificate in Vocational Skills on the basis of an interview.
