WITT’s Certificate in Vocational Skills is designed to assist people with special learning disabilities to develop personal, vocational and work skills that will assist them to function productively within the community and the employment sector.
Students will have an increased confidence and self-esteem and an understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses both in social and work environments.
CERTIFICATE IN TERTIARY STUDIES
These entry level courses are designed for people who wish to embark on tertiary study but do not yet have the entrance required or want to strengthen their skills further towards tertiary level study. This programme aims to provide foundation level students with the means to clarify their career and educational aspirations. It is an introductory level certificate that encourages students to develop basic skills and self-confidence, and assists them to select an appropriate programme of further study.
This programme allows flexibility for students to engage in individual education plans that will either lead to nationally recognised qualifications, entry to the workforce or to gain entry to higher level qualifications.
WITT’s University Entrance qualification is designed for people who need to gain the necessary academic requirements for entry into University level study e.g. Bachelor Degrees. This course is also ideal for people who want tertiary study preparation before enrolling into a degree programme.
After successfully gaining a University Entrance qualification you can apply to go on to WITT’s Degree level courses in Nursing and Social Work or other degrees at University.
