Qualification overview

The National Certificate in Civil Infrastructure (General Introductory Skills) aims to develop skills and knowledge for those exploring their options in contracting occupations and associated trades before deciding on a more defined career direction. the qualification is relevant to pre-apprenticeship training programmes in civil infrastructure maintenance and construction, or work experience placement programmes.

This qualification is delivered in partnership with the New Zealand Institute of Highway Technology.

Entry requirements

Entry is open to people working in the civil construction, infrastructure or highway engineering, construction or maintenance industries.
