The Certificate in Design Draughting provides training relevant to the Draughting, Engineering, and Design Industries or as a pathway into the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or Diploma in Construction.

Entry requirements

  • 48 or more credits at NCEA Level 1, with no fewer than 12 credits in Mathematics with the remaining credits being from three other subjects/domains, and/or
  • Equivalent NZQF Unit Standards
  • Applications will also be considered from people with other academic qualifications or industry-related experience.

Mechanical Engineering cadetships, Engineering Technician, Engineering Design Assistant, Project Manager, Engineering Management. Architectural cadetship or Design Assistant.
