The creative technologies field offers fundamental and specialist skills for those interested in working in the creative sector. The Certificate in Creative Technologies develops practical skills unique to the visual arts and digital media fields. Further your study options with our two year Diploma in Creative Technologies, which allows our students to complete their final degree year at Weltec in Wellington.


Cultural Design elective courses are offered in the Diploma programme in year 1 and year 2. These courses enable students to engage with Toi Māori (Māori Arts) learning and developing traditional and contemporary technologies, ideas and creative outcomes.


Students interested in digital media can develop fundamental and specialist skills in web media, 2D and 3D animation and video available in the Diploma level programme. Digital media courses are available within all qualifications of the arts portfolio.
