These partnerships aim to expand opportunities for artists and help develop their careers, through initiatives such as marketing drives.
Creative New Zealand is responsible for the development of the arts in New Zealand. Its main focus is to encourage, support and promote the value of the arts and New Zealand artists, nationally and internationally.
In Taranaki, WITT has an artist in residence programme partnership with the Govett-Brewster Art Galley which includes national and international artists.
