| PROGRAMME OVERVIEW |
| Designed to provide the student with essential art and creative design skills in either visual arts (painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture) or digital media (graphic design, web design, digital film, and television). This programme will be invaluable in preparing students for higher-level study in Creative Technologies. |

| ENTRY REQUIREMENTS |

Academic
|
|
Applicants should demonstrate an ability to succeed in tertiary study, shown by the completion of any of the following qualifications or courses of study:
|
- Four years of secondary education; and
- 24 or more credits at NCEA Level 3, with no fewer than 12 credits in English at Level 2 or above and the remaining from three other subjects (preferably in the Art, Design or Technology area); and/or
- Equivalent NQF Unit Standards; or
- Successful completion of the Certificate in Creative Graphics (Level 3).

| Students may undertake further study in the Diploma in Creative Technologies (Level 6), and then enrol with WelTec to complete their Bachelor of Creative Technologies (Level 7). |
