WITT Stories
The WITT Journalism School has a high success rate at finding jobs for its graduates. One reason for this is the number of stories they get published or broadcast during the year-long course.
This is achieved through WITT's close relationship with local media, including the Taranaki Daily News (NZ's ninth largest newspaper), community papers such as North Taranaki Midweek, South Taranaki Star and Stratford Press, and radio stations like NewstalkZB and the Most FM.
Publication means students accumulate an impressive scrapbook full of their work, and that's what impresses media employers. They know a WITT journalism graduate knows what to do on the first day of the job.
