Tutor for Bachelor of Nursing

WITT is looking to recruit on a fixed term full time nursing tutor. Applicants will need to be a registered nurse with experience in the acute, primary or aged care areas.   

You will be part of an energetic, engaging and professional team that will fully support not only the students but also your own development.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has at least five years’ work experience specific to one of the relevant fields (as above)
  • holds a Masters in a related area to their preferred subject teaching or its equivalent.

It is desirable that you would:

  • have experience in a teaching and learning environment and have demonstrated an innovative approach to delivery
  • be actively engaged in  research
  • have membership of an associated industry body.

Expression of Interest for Causal Tutors for Bachelor of Nursing

WITT is taking expressions of interest for the casual, hourly paid, part time tutors to support our Degree programme in the following subject areas.

  • Acute care
  • Primary care
  • Aged care

Hours of work are dependent on the number of courses being taught and the study time-table.

We are looking for people who have;

  • at least five years’ work experience specific to one of the relevant fields (as above) and hold a Masters in a related area.
  • a background that includes skills in knowledge transfer

 It is desirable that you would;

  • have experience in a teaching and learning environment and have demonstrated an innovative approach to delivery
  • be actively engaged in  research
  • have membership of an associated industry body.
