Current Vacancies 

Business Development Manager

WITT is a tertiary education organisation which prides itself on its quality learning environment. WITT is taking on a different shape and structure than previously, as it responds to the changing political, economic, social and technological environments impacting on tertiary education.  Like any commercial business, WITT has products and services that need to be relevant and sought after by its customers and the communities in which it operates. 

We are currently seeking an experienced full time, fixed term (until December 2017) Business Development Manager. 

Key Tasks for this role include:

  • Develop and manage a stakeholder strategy that drives the business forward
  • Increase non-government income into WITT
  • Produce and provide current market intelligence and identify areas of growth. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven success in a marketing/business development role
  • Extensive business knowledge and skills
  • The ability to drive improvement and change within the business
  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce/Management or a related field desirable but not essential

Clinical Learning and Simulation Manager

WITT is a tertiary education organisation which prides itself on its quality learning environment. WITT is taking on a different shape and structure than previously, as it responds to the changing political, economic, social and technological environments impacting on tertiary education

We are currently seeking a full time permanent Clinical Learning and Simulation Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage clinical learning experiences, including associated teaching and learning strategies to support students in the School of Nursing and other areas that meet the requirements of the external governing bodies. To facilitate employer networking and foster industry relationships along with graduate recruitment. The role will also undertake the Simulation Centre Manager responsibilities.

Key Tasks for this role include:

  • Building relationships with both students and agencies
  • Strategic planning of clinical learning, simulation and student placement
  • Ensure information regarding the agencies, students and the contracts is updated and communicated between the different parties
  • Increase stakeholder involvement through working with industry and actively promote WITT. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Registered Nurse with NCNZ Practicing Certificate
  • Masters Qualification
  • Working knowledge of industry student learning
  • Excellent organisation and coordination skills and along with ability to use technology and databases
  • Works well with other and has excellent communication skills
