Nursing Simulation Technician and Tutor Assistant

We are currently seeking a part time (0.8FTE) permanent Nursing Simulation Technician and Tutorial Assistant. The purpose of this role is to undertake the Simulation Technician responsibilities to ensure the nursing programme, tutors and students are supported in relation to all simulation lab learning experiences. The role also supports teaching and learning strategies and provides administrative support to students and staff in the School of Nursing to ensure the requirements of the external governing bodies are met.

 Key Tasks for this role include:

  • Undertake all simulation technician responsibilities
  • Provide tutors and students with academic and information technology assistance
  • Build relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and industry

We are looking for someone who:

  • Competent with using technology and databases
  • Working knowledge of undergraduate student learning,
  • Excellent organisation and coordination skills
  • Able to work well with others
  • Outstanding communication skills both oral and written
  • Have attention to detail
  • Knowledge of health would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
