Donna Willard-Moore, BFA., MA., MFA., is both an art educator and practicing artist. Currently, Donna is a principle academic at WITT. Working in New Zealand education since 1996, she created the Bachelor of Visual Arts at WITT.
Like most post-modern artists, she worked with dualism (Demons and Angels, 1999, etc.). Working with Integral theory since 2001, she is exploring the creation of integral art. Her exhibitions in 2008 included Death and Religion, Dealers in Death, Death Knell, and Street stories.
In August 2008, Donna presented Integral theory and Art Education at the first Biennial Integral Theory in Action Conference: Serving Self, Other, and Kosmos at John F. Kennedy University, San Francisco, USA. Donna also presented at ANZAAE Conference in April 2009 RE-Viewing the Emperor’s New Clothes: NZ Art Education, NCEA and secondary school art teaching viewed through Integral theory/AQAL Evaluation.
Donna is currently involved in creating both an academic and public awareness of the developmental potential of Integral theory.
