Soup and Scarves Day

There was food galore at lunchtime at WITT today.

At Te Piere students were treated to some outstanding soup as part of Soup and Scarves Day – and students and tutors were spoilt for choice as Impressions Restaurant held a bakery sale.

The WITT camera was on hand as Margaret Smith and Robin Harvey were handing out the soup, which was made by hospitality tutor Andrew Brooking and his students.

About 80 students sampled the fare. The soup was served in numbered cups – and at 1pm a draw saw Malcolm Priest’s cup earn him a WITT jacket.
